In 2007 a partnership was formed with Fountain Powerboats, manufacturers of the 47 Lightning Sport Boat, the crown jewel of the aquamarine world. F7 saw first hand the sheer superiority of these machines on water in terms of speed, luxury and handling. After reaching a deal to market the powerboats in urban America, the partners realized that their mission should also include the West African market and succeeded in acquiring sole dealership rights in that region.
While F7 already had plans to develop luxury real estate in Lagos Nigeria, the appeal of these sophisticated, powerful machines was too great to ignore. F7 International has now introduced its boating division to Nigeria, a country which Kayode Jegede has often described as "having the world's highest concentration of luxury connoisseurs." Some of Nigeria's most successful individuals are already partaking in the ultimate luxury, with members of this elite group spending more and more of their time on high liners in private boat clubs. These boat clubs provide a temporary retreat from the rest of the world, and F7 has now upped the ante on this leisure activity of the affluent.
